PREAMBLE
The purpose of the Wisconsin High School (WHS) Bowling Club will be to provide high school students an opportunity to experience the spirit of the team competition and community pride while participating in a sport they can enjoy for the rest of their lives, and allows any bowler, without regard to race, sex, or physical challenge, an opportunity to participate within a team environment. It will provide sanctioned high school bowling competition as defined by the USBC and will provide an opportunity for student’s bowlers to meet bowlers from other schools and travel to other bowling club facilities.

ARTICLE I
NAME OF THE ORGANIZATION
The name of the organization shall be the Wisconsin High School Bowling Club.

ARTICLE II
MEMBERSHIP
The Club shall consist of the following Districts:

District 1 – Milwaukee
District 3A – Racine/Kenosha
District 3B – Walworth
District 4 – Madison
District 5 – LaCrosse
District 6 – Watertown
District 7 – Fond du Lac
District 8 – Green Bay
District 8A – Appleton
District 9 – Wausau
District 10 – Central WI

ARTICLE III
ADVISORY COMMITTEE
The Advisory Committee shall be composed of the Bowling Centers Association of Wisconsin (BCAW) High School Task Force.

ARTICLE IV
OFFICERS
The President and Vice President will be head coaches elected from the participating schools. They will be elected annually by the members of the Advisory Committee and the head coaches of each participating school.

ARTICLE V
COMMISSIONER
The Commissioner of the WHS Bowling Club shall b elected by the Advisory Committee annually. The Commissioner’s responsibilities include but are not limited to: Coordination of personnel; management policies and procedures; maintenance of the program; and assistance in settlement of problems and disputes which may arise. He/she also will be responsible for the coordination and communication with the School Boards and Associations which will be involved in WHS Bowling Club activities. These responsibilities shall also be those of the Advisory Committee from which the commissioner receives his/her authority.

ARTICLE VI
FINANCES
The participants may incur all financial obligations in the operation of the program. Costs and expenses include but are not limited to:

  • Salaries for coaches and Commissioner
  • Team Uniforms
  • Bowling Uniforms
  • Bowling Fees and Sanction Fees
  • Transportation To Meets and Tournaments
  • Insurance
  • Banners, Jackets, Trophies and Awards
  • Secretarial and Record-keeping Costs
  • Scholarship Awards

Any school or school district participating in the WHS Bowling Club shall incur expenses based on status in the district.

ARTICLE VII
AMENDEMENTS
An amendment must be brought before the WHS Bowling Club Task Force Advisory Committee at a regular scheduled meeting. Any amendment, if passed, will take effect at a time designated by the members of the Advisory Committee in order to be passed.
